"Growth happens
in a safe space."
Hi, I'm Rebecca Million, LPC
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to helping adults find clarity, relief, and genuine growth through individual therapy.
My practice, Million Mind, was built on the belief that every person deserves a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore what's holding them back — whether that's anxiety, depression, or simply the weight of life's transitions.
I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach grounded in your individual needs. My goal is not to hand you a script, but to walk alongside you as you develop the insight and tools to move forward with confidence.
How we'll work together
A simple, unhurried process designed to make starting therapy feel less daunting.
-
Free consultation
A 15-minute call to share what's bringing you in and ask any questions. No pressure, no commitment — just a chance to see if we're a good fit.
-
First session
We'll talk about your history, what you're hoping to change, and what a good outcome would look like. You set the pace — there's no right way to begin.
-
Ongoing sessions
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly. We'll check in regularly about what's working and adjust as your goals evolve over time.
You deserve to feel better
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn. Whether you're struggling with anxiety or depression — or both — therapy can help.
Anxiety
Persistent worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, social anxiety — we'll work together to calm your nervous system and build lasting resilience.
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
- Social anxiety
- Panic and worry spirals
- Performance anxiety

Therapy that fits you
I draw from evidence-based frameworks — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and person-centered therapy — tailoring each session to what you actually need.
There's no one-size-fits-all approach here. We'll move at your pace, with your goals as the compass.
Personalized
Every session is tailored to your unique history, goals, and pace. No generic worksheets — just real, present-moment support.
Evidence-Based
Grounded in evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs — not a one-size-fits-all script.
Judgment-Free
This is your space. Whatever you bring — fears, failures, feelings — will be met with compassion, not critique.
Collaborative
You are the expert on your own life. I'm here to help you find your own clarity — not tell you what to do.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
— Carl Rogers
Before we begin
What does a session cost, and do you take insurance?
Sessions are billed at a self-pay rate, and I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows. I'm not in-network with any insurance panels, but many clients use HSA/FSA funds or their out-of-network benefits. The free 15-minute consultation call is a good time to ask about the fee structure.
Do you offer telehealth, or only in-person?
Both. I see clients in my Austin office and via secure HIPAA-compliant video for anyone located in Texas. Many clients mix the two based on the week.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — we'll go at your pace.
How long does therapy usually take?
It depends on what you're working on. Some clients come for a defined period around a specific issue; others prefer longer-term support. We check in regularly and adjust as needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice are charged the full fee, except in cases of illness or emergency.
